A community outreach company is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This opportunity allows Licensed Clinical Social Worker to work with mental health and substance abuse consumers. The position requires Clinicians with the ability to facilitate individual and/or group therapeutic sessions in an effort to identify their consumer's problematic issues and needs. The Clinician must have strong communication skills; sensitivity to multi-cultural populations and issues, and remain ethical and content during counseling sessions. The Clinician will examine consumer’s thoughts, feelings and behaviors to create an improvement plan. The Clinician will provide outreach interventions, crisis interventions, intensive case management, and intensive community support systems.
The Clinician will serve an advocate in assisting consumers in accessing community resources tailored to the individual consumers’ needs, as well as modeling self-help and coping mechanisms. The Clinician will maintain a working knowledge of current trends and developments in the mental health field. The Clinician will participate in treatment team meetings, execute assessments, and complete treatment plans and MICPS for State approval. The Clinician will monitor consumers’ progress and compliance with treatment plan goals and objectives. The Clinician will provide daily documentation and participate in Team Meetings. The Clinician will provide a collaborative approach to effect positive outcomes for the consumer’s served.
The Clinician will work closely with the psychiatrist, clinical director, and or other mental professionals, area hospitals, jails, and shelter as warranted and may interact with individuals closely related to a patient, such as family and friends.
Applicant must possess excellent communication skills, organizational skills, strong writing skills, i.e. assessments and reliable transportation. The position entails Part-Time (with flexibility), Full-Time, and/or Weekends. Salary for this position is based on education and experience.

1. Master’s Degree in social work, social sciences, counseling, and psychology
2. Current GA State Licensure
1. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and auto insurance
