Marketing Coordinator

Our client is a biotech start up in the SF Bay Area that sells its products directly to large, recognizable names in the life sciences/biotech. They're continuing to grow quickly, and are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join their team on a contract to hire basis. This would be a 6 month contract with a strong opportunity to extend! Role:
  •  Identify, develop and apply appropriate methods to ensure an adequate donor pool to meet daily, weekly and monthly collection goals by cultivating a diverse donor pool of engaged, reliable and on-call donors

  •  Coordinate with the marketing leadership, the donor management team and third-parties to facilitate an integrated donor recruitment strategy to meet business demands

  •  Provide excellent customer service, while ensuring strict donor-confidentiality when corresponding with prospective donors about the donor experience, compensation benefits, and the societal impact of donating with our client

  •  Respond quickly to donor inquiries to ensure the best possible experience and driving them quickly complete qualification forms

  •  Partner with Marketing Manager to assist in recruitment event coordination.

  •  Attend in person events to recruit donors

  •  Proactively manage the yearly calendar for all donor-facing and events

  •  Assist donors with scheduling their first screening and general donor education 


    Requirements:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in life science related or marketing field preferred or High School Diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.

  •  Minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing, recruiting, customer service, or related experience. Previous experience working with a blood bank is a plus.

  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  •  Exceptional customer service skills

  •  Strong knowledge of Google Apps, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required; willingness to learn additional job-

    relevant software, as required

  •  Must be able to complete job tasks accurately and in a timely manner

  •  Able to multitask, work independently and manage multiple priorities

  •  Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively are required.

  •  Strong phone etiquette and professional demeanor

  •  Must accept instruction with open, cooperative, positive, and team-oriented attitude

  •  Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends
