Position Title: Sr. Mechanical/ElectroMechanical Engineer

• 8+ years of experience in computer/server related industry. Experience in server system design is desired. Experience in designing medical device is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ElectroMechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or computer design related discipline is desired
• Must be well-versed in industry-standards for computer racks design and component selections
• Must be familiar with all subcomponents design and validation including PCBA H/W, F/W, mechanical, thermal, and power
• Must have hands-on experience in assembly and testing of computer racks
• Electromechanical design experience, working with SolidWorks Electrical 2D and 3D highly desired
• Experienced in design and selecting cabling for the computer rack systems
• Experience designing products for angiography interventional suite environment highly desired
• Experience designing and dimensioning using the metric system and GD&T required
• Demonstrated CAD proficiency and PDM experience required. SolidWorks preferred
• Document control experience required
• Ability to multitask and work under aggressive deadlines are critical to success
• Execute assigned projects and duties with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in using MS Office highly desired

Position Summary:
The Sr. Mechanical/ElectroMechanical Engineer will contribute to new product development by design and development of electromechanical subsystems such as computer racks using latest toolsets and industry leading best practices. You will be an important contributor to realizing the next generation of interventional robotic platform. This position will assess the current design, the design inputs and requirements, perform gap analyses, ideate new concepts, designs, analysis (e.g., perform thermal analysis), create detailed drawings, generate test plans, and contribute in test and characterizations of subsystems. This is a collaborative opportunity where you will work cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, and external vendors. This role is suited for hands-on, problem solver with strong project management skills who is interested to work in a fast-paced environment and learn from a strong engineering team while adding value to the assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Leads the electromechanical design and development of computer rack architectures with manufacture feasibility
• Translate design requirements into product specifications
• Perform analysis on design including thermal and EMC/EMI
• Create test plans to verify key performances
• Contribute to execution of test and characterization of these subsystems
• Construct DMR/BOMs, prepare ECO’s per prototype and production level engineering requirements
