You are the first point of contact for our clients and will be working directly with business owners and CEO's on their account needs. As a small team, we all jump in where needed so flexibility is a must! The Account Manager will be responsible for managing, tracking, supporting and reporting on client communications and all deliverables, and will be the owner of the account project plans, which includes management of project scheduling and task assignments related to each of their client accounts.
The account manager will provide account support, working closely and in collaboration with their clients, production team and business development team to help reach project goals, client revenue targets, and client profitability metrics. You should be highly organized, goal-oriented, deadline-driven and meticulous with your attention to detail. Getting your hands dirty when needed while not losing sight of opportunities to maximize customer revenue/conversions is the key to success for this position. A combination of strong communication, design, and analytical skills that support your primary goal of creating digital campaigns that drive revenue growth (retention, cross-selling and upselling) makes you a stellar candidate.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Create baseline dashboards based on clients status
Manage and help prioritize day-to-day client requests and deliverables
Create and maintain the project plan, team assignments, and due dates in the project management system for ongoing client-facing and internal team deliverables
Schedule internal and client-facing meetings
Create meeting agendas, gather required analysis/materials & document meeting minutes and action items
Create and refine internal and client-facing performance reports
Provide sprint reports regarding digital marketing efforts and performance metrics
Run point in existing accounts for all daily service needs
Building and maintaining collaborative, positive relationships with all internal and external agency teams
Scheduling and internal routing of all client work
Prepare and lead meetings and build and present reports
4-6 years of Account Manager experience in a client-facing position (e.g., account management, client management, client support or business development)
Ability to handle multiple high priority assignments with effective resolution of conflicting priorities
Able to communicate effectively with business owners, CEO's etc on the client-side.
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to think creatively to contribute ideas that will drive value in a dynamic, client-centered environment
Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Omniture, Coremetrics etc)
Excellent Excel skills, including familiarity with building graphs, charts, data tables, pivot tables and formulas
Experience using a project management tool (i.e. Asana, Jira, Basecamp, etc.)
Experience with Zapier (or other automation tools) a plus
Able to execute and manage scope, budgets and timelines
Familiarity with the basics of web design can be helpful
Ability to work well in a team and to shine as an individual
High comfort level using the Internet as a research and/or shopping tool
This is an onsite, 40 hours per week, full-time opportunity.
