*You’ll be the lead role in this division of the business. Thus, for the first year, this position is not eligible for remote work from another city. Relocation required to our headquarters in Fort Wayne, IN and relocation assistance provided. Job purpose

An incredible opportunity for those who live and breath Supply Chain Management to join one of Indiana’s fastest growing E-commerce and technology companies. 3BG Supply Co. is looking for a proactive, detail oriented candidate to join our growing company and lead as our Supply Chain Manager and Drop Ship Coordinator. This role focuses on vendor relations, problem-solving, process improvement, and is a key part of growing our business and serving the purchasing needs of MRO Buyers around the United States.

As the head of our Supply Chain, drop shipment support is at the core of this role of which functions involve communication with our suppliers and departments within our company and improving the logistics behind how we deliver our products to ensure that we get customers their orders as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of 3BG’s Order fulfillment and Returns Logistics at the vendor level.

  • Become an expert in our drop ship order processing as it relates to our systems and ever-growing vendor list

  • Make and execute decisions regarding the best way to fulfill orders

  • Collaborate with other our Development and Operations Teams to ensure fast processing of orders

  • Manage and build relationships with vendors to ensure drop shipments are being processed timely and accurately

  • Investigate processing as well as customer problems reported by our sales team and provide strategic solutions

  • Evaluate current processes and suggest any appropriate improvements to increase efficiency and better the customer experience

  • Develop methods and reports to analyze business outcomes


You are a strong fit for this role if you have the following (preferred for some not required for all):

  • BA/BS required; MA/MS/MBA or equivalent preferred.

  • 3-10+ years' of experience in this related field preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge of supply chain required and best practices for e-commerce businesses, specifically for order fulfillment is preferred.

  • Experience within the Industrial MRO Field preferred, not required.

  • Willing to take initiative and ownership of problems to find solutions while balancing desired business and vendor / supply chain outcomes

  • Demonstrated experience in driving results through a diverse set of business processes and problem-solving.

  • Demonstrated ability to embrace change, demonstrate agility in relation to change and persuade/lead others through the change to minimize team disruption.
