Service and Maintain Business Technology Equipment as they pertain to 360 Office Solutions to include support on: Ricoh, Kyocera, HP an many other brands of devices.
Provide Excellent Customer Service
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Testing the machines and ensuring functionality
Detecting any malfunctions and repairing machines immediately
Keeping records and documenting service call, parts into remote tech software
Maintaining the inventory in work vehicle
Ability to manage time, meets deadlines, and efficiently maintains the proper functionality of the machine.
Sound understanding of technical aspects of the copier machine and the ability to detect malfunctions.
Maintain a clean driving record such that the employee can be insured under the Company’s insurance policies
Keep vehicles clean and in good working condition by reporting any problems.
Deliver and install, repair or update equipment as needed
Follow work ticket orders to fix machines
Keep manager Informed of Activities
Know and understand Warranty Processes
Maintain accurate inventory
Follow 360 processes as they relate to daily workflow
Ability to build and maintain a strong working relationship with the customer that creates trust and confidence in the technician's ability to maintain their equipment. Most customers will not want to leave this loyal environment when it is time to repurchase more equipment. Remember, we are a guest in the customers office, be polite and professional, aware of how noise levels (vacuums) and odors from cleaning chemicals may affect those near the machine being maintained.
Response time to customers service needs is of critical importance. Our commitment to our customers is a 4 hour response time beginning with the time the actual service call is received by dispatch until we are onsite.
Research and trouble shoot the problem before leaving the shop to insure we know what parts/supplies should be taken with. Is this a phone fix? Ability to perform the service work needed in the most time and cost efficient manner.
Communicate with customer after the repair, letting them know what was done and why.
Be on the lookout for competitive consumables being used in our equipment. Report these occurrences to…..
Possess a good understanding of the operation and capabilities of the equipment being worked on in case a customer has an operational question.
Ability to install/program equipment within a network environment.
Willingness to continue expanding your knowledge of our industry including exploring and being trained on other service opportunities within our industry. (I.E., competitive brands or addition of new lines of office equipment such as folders/inserters, mail room and other office equipment).
Constantly update knowledge on new equipment from our manufacturer partners including 360 Office Solutions sponsored manufacturer training as well as self-study and on-the-job training.
