3Key Consulting is looking for an Engineer with experience in mechanical systems modeling, fabrication technique, fixture design experience, Solidworks, technical writing, ability to multi-task, strong communication and teamwork skills, for a leading, international pharmaceutical company headquartered in Thousand Oaks, CA.
Job Summary: Job Details: Position involves support of senior staff in the initiation, design, and delivery of projects, particularly method development and experimental design. Employ basic engineering skills and practices to gather user requirements and translate them into technical documentation for execution. Assist with project definition by performing engineering studies and assessment for drug delivery systems. Perform field evaluations of existing systems and provide engineering design recommendations. Design and development of physical test methods with respect to container and combination product integration of drug delivery systems. Capable of machine design from initial conception through fabrication and into implementation. Collaborate with various groups on-site or from our other Manufacturing Sites.

Experience: This can be an entry level position as the manager is open to recent graduates.
Ideal candidate: someone that has some hands-on experience, even if it was from an internship
Top Must have Skill Sets: 1. BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Computer, Biomedical, etc.) 2. Mechanical Design and Modeling Experience 3. Strong communication and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or other Healthcare related field Graduate degree with 2+ years of Project Management experience
Day-To-Day Responsibilities: The Associate Engineer, working with more senior staff, will provide process monitoring, troubleshooting support and systems analysis of drug substance manufacturing operations for Amgen’s global manufacturing network and contract manufacturing sites. Responsibilities will also include process monitoring for the Drug Substance Manufacturing network, collaborate with other technical staff for implementation of process improvements, and use data analytical techniques (including multivariate data analysis) to identify signals in process performance.
