AMPI - Safety Quality Food Practitioner (SQF) in USA

• Associated Milk Producers Inc (AMPI) is a dairy marketing cooperative owned by 2,000 farm families and managed by its 1,200 employees. • AMPI is immediately hiring for the SQF Practitioner. The SQF Practitioner has been designated by senior management to develop, validate, verify and maintain the company’s Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan. The SQF Practitioner has the responsibility and necessary resources to fully manage the Food Safety programs at AMPI facilities and ensure it meets and/or exceeds all the requirements of the SQF and FSMA.

• Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 
• Salary: Starting $65,000
• Hours Per Week: 40 + 
• Overtime: This is an exempt position, no OT paid for. Likely 10-15 a week. 
• Workweek: Monday - Friday. Occasional weekends
• Shifts: 1st shift: Mon – Friday. 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.  
• Payment Days: Biweekly / Thursday 
• Start Dates: ASAP
• Locations: New Ulm MN. / This position requires approximately 50% travel. We reimburse mileage at the IRS recommended rate.

• Criminal Background Check and Drug Test: Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check. 
• English Level Required: Proficient (conversational English) 
• Physical requirements: Must be able to pass physical assessment performed by the factory´s doctor.

If housing isn't available in New Ulm, worker can live in Paynesville and work from Paynesville for up to two months.

• Housing: We are looking to find housing in New Ulm. If it's secured, it will be an apartment that is shared with other workers. If housing isn't available in NU, the worker can live in Paynesville for up to two months.
