Job Description

What We're Looking For:

The Social Impact Program Specialist acts as a bridge between the Workforce Agency Partners, Admissions and Ops teams and provides administrative support to the Social Impact Team. They are expected to ensure that workforce referrals move through the 2U Bootcamp admissions process smoothly, and they will be expected to develop and continuously improve these processes to ensure scalability of the Access Partnerships model. 

This role reports to the Director of Social Impact Partnerships, and will work closely with the Admissions, University Partners and Student Support team, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that all Access Partnership students are effectively supported and all referrals are closed. The role also requires managing partner data requests and student event support. 

The Social Impact Program Specialist should feel comfortable managing a high volume of projects at any given time and have sound judgment under pressure while maintaining a high level of customer service. The role requires meticulous attention to detail while ensuring effective use of time to manage varying responsibilities.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

Referral Support and Administration

  • Qualify and respond to inbound referrals and proactively monitor student journey. 
  • Clear and timely response to incoming requests for information from internal and external parties, including University Partners and senior leadership.
  • Ensure partnership contracts and payment terms are signed and filed or payment is received prior to registering workforce students. 
  • Generate and share reports as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date documentation on file.

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • WIOA/Workforce Agency experience required.
  • 2 - 3+ years sales office administration experience in a B2B (Business-to-Business) environment  - preferably SAAS technologies; IT; or online education.
  • 2+ years client management or sales experience.

Please Note: This position supports programs across all US time zones. The ideal candidate should be willing and able to flex their daily work hours to support programs across the country and in Canada.

In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is $63,000 with potential bonus eligibility. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate's assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
