Responsibilities

The 1o8 Client Management team is built to help our clients win by thinking forward to the larger role and implications our work has on our clients’ business, growth and industry.


The Account Supervisor is responsible for leading the management of key accounts and supervising account work performed by junior staff.  They demonstrate the ability to manage up and across with peers and mentor account team members.


The right candidate has deep digital creative knowledge and experience with consumer brands. They can lead cross-functional teams to drive growth for our clients by leading with curiosity and critical thinking: asking probing questions, anticipating and addressing barriers.


Day-to-Day Requirements

  • Act as a trusted partner and point of contact for clients, striving to solve larger strategic business problems, not just the immediate request at hand
  • Identify and act upon opportunities to drive agency growth, including aiding in new business pitches
  • Manage client objectives, expectations and timelines and communicate direction to internal team members
  • Manage costs, deliverables, and staffing resources to client budget
  • Influence the efficiency and quality of work and effectively present work, plans and recaps
  • Identify KPIs that respond to clients’ day to day inquiries
  • Serve as a mentor to junior team members 
  • Build a team environment that facilitates mutual respect and partnership, open communication, strategic thinking, and risk taking


Ideal Experience

The ideal candidate flourishes in an entrepreneurial environment and is both a thinker and a doer - someone who thrives on the ability to help solve our clients’ largest problems.

  • 5+ years in account management in an agency setting or fast-paced marketing department
  • Fluent in business acumen; understand the way our work impacts our clients’ business beyond marketing and communications
  • Deep understanding of a customer journey and platform integration to drive users throughout the conversion process
  • Familiarity with Pixel tracking (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc), and basic HTML knowledge is preferred
  • Track record of expertly counseling clients, managing issues and meeting business goals 
  • Experience in client-related finance management, including managing projects within budget
  • Excellent writing, editing, and presentation-development skills
  • Excellent consultative skills (including effective questions, critical thinking, client management and framework and methodology application)
  • Ability to take initiative in unclear or ambiguous situations 
  • Ability to communicate with teams and work from both client and agency sides
  • Knowledge of industry best and emerging practices
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
