Department/Customer: ITSF Operations/PEO EIS

Clearance Requirement: Active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one (US Citizenship required)

Who We Need:

An experienced Windows Administrator to join our Operations team with experience building, configuring, managing, deploying, patching, and upgrading Microsoft Windows 2008R2/2012R2/2016, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010/2013 and server/storage virtualization deployments

What You’ll Spend Most of Your Time Doing

  • After your initial onboarding and acclimation to the team, you will be focused on supporting Design, implementation and administration of Windows 2008r2/2012r2/2016, MS-Azure, Microsoft Exchange, GPO, LDAP, and Active Directory . 
  • You will troubleshoot Windows issues ranging from hardware to operating systems/applications/permissions/user profile related issues
  • You will participate in a 24x7 on call rotation with a hybrid multi-location operations team administering existing production networks
  • You will be part of a team that will implement, install and recommend technologies including database, systems management, server virtualization, network storage and security
  • You will monitor health, performance and operational trends to proactively identify issues before they become incidents.

    As Senior Active Directory/LDAP/GPO SME you will:

    • Perform configuration, troubleshooting, and management of various Windows environments
    • Demonstrate excellent networking and technical skills, proficiency with the design, implementation and support of Microsoft solutions, integration of enterprise server, storage, network, and virtualization components, and exhibit strong project management and communication.
    • You will build infrastructure, networks, and applications for scalability, resiliency, availability, and recovery.
    • Help migrate systems from a traditional infrastructure deployment model to an infrastructure as code model with automation and monitoring via DevOps.

      Are You:

      • A Microsoft systems administrator with 5+ years successful Microsoft systems engineering experience with Windows 2008r2/2012r2/2016, with a progressive record of successful delivery of complex technical systems and/or services?
      • An engineer with deep experience with the design, implementation and administration of Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Active Directory, GPO best practices, LDAP, and Azure AD?
      • Experienced with networking (Firewalls, Cisco routers/switches, network protocols, VPN…), Network storage (SAN, NAS, Backup) experience, VMware, MS Hype-V Server Virtualization, PowerShell, and SQL scripting?
      • Someone with the ability to understand the business and data environments of our current and potential customers and collaborate with a variety of technical and non-technical team members to arrive at comprehensive solutions?
      • A detail-oriented engineer with proven experience interacting with customers of all levels and able to collaborate with a variety of technical and non-technical teams?
      • Proficient in creating technical documentation & diagrams using Visio or similar?
      • A US Citizen who can obtain and maintain a public trust clearance?
      • It would be also be great if you have:
        • Experience with MS Azure Cloud environment
        • Experience with the AWS Cloud environment
        • Experience with unified communication such as Lync and Skype for Business
        • Experience with Linux and/or Unix
        • Familiarity with SCCM and SCOM
        • Familiarity with Solaris configuration and administration

          • Travel to customer sites, including overnight travel
          • Ability to provide coverage for core hours (8a to 6p) and occasional work on nights and weekends may be required during maintenance periods.

                      OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:

                      Selected applicants will be subject to a background investigation. Individual’s primary workstation is located in an office area with overhead lighting. The noise level in this environment is low to moderate. Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 80% of time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC, copier, fax, telephone, cell phone, etc. Occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 10 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include use of computer monitor screens up to 80% of time.
