Title: Customer Care Coordinator

101 Mobility, the nation’s largest and first full-scale franchise of Mobility and Accessibility equipment for the aging and disabled is seeking a full-time Customer Care Coordinator to work at our San Carlos location.

Position Summary:

The Customer Care Coordinator facilitates caring telephone interaction with clients, schedules appointments, communicates with both clients and the 101 Mobility Team, and coordinates management of contact database and proprietary software.

Essential job functions

  • Initial impression; develops trusting, caring, knowledgeable, confident relationship with our potential customers.

  • Solution-oriented inside sales person through communication with clients using various media, including phone, email, and in person interaction with visitors to the office

  • Goal to provide all product and service information to the customer resulting in either a sale or an in-home consultation

  • Maintains client database in Mobilink, the company proprietary operating system

  • Utilizes Mobilink to document all customer interactions and schedule appointments

  • Prepares standard and custom reports as required using Excel, and Mobilink

  • Coordinates with 101 Mobility Team to provide solutions for customer concerns as they arise

  • Maintains electronic and hard copy records in an organized systematic manner

  • Contacts clients by phone to follow up and understand their needs and provide service support

  • Prepares consultation packets, including product information, 101 Mobility marketing materials, assessment forms, and customer quotes

  • Prepares required delivery and installation documents, including Equipment Delivery Form, Work Order, Lease Agreement, and Client Invoices

  • Utilizes Mobilink to review and record client notes, upload pictures, and perform status updates

  • Assists with tracking shipments and controlling inventory

  • Follows company safety policies/practices and observes OSHA and fire regulations to safeguard against injury and damage to property

  • Promptly reports any defective material, incorrect installation, or damage to Supervisor

  • Safeguards against loss of equipment, materials, and tools on a job site or office location

  • Performs other duties as required

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Comfortable with all aspects of computer, internet, and mobile applications/usage

  • Must have ability to communicate clearly in English, both orally and in writing; work effectively with a wide range of people including customers, referral sources, co-workers, and management

  • Must have ability to read and comprehend written instructions, correspondence, and technical drawings

  • Must have the willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, extended workweek, including some evenings and weekends as scheduled

  • Must have valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Must have reliable transportation; mileage reimbursement will be provided if vehicle is required for company business

  • Must wear protective equipment when required; must adhere to company uniform and appearance standards

Preferred skills

  • A “likeable expert” who delivers a good product and service experience for customers

  • Customer service/ sales experience, especially with older adults

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications, (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Experience with general bookkeeping and Quickbooks entry

  • Comfortable with understanding of mechanical, technical, and math basics
