VP of Investment and Trust Services
Location: Frankfort, IN (HYBRID work flexibility after 3-6 months of training)
Salary: $100,000 - $146,000 DOE + Bonus
Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, 401(k) w/ match, 3-4 weeks of PTO
Job Type: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8 AM - 5 PM; Fridays 8 AM - 6 PM

VP of Investment and Trust Services Description

Our client in the Banking Industry is looking for a VP of Investment and Trust Services to add to their team in Frankfort, IN. You will be responsible for the management and adherence to overall profitability, ongoing strategic planning, and business development of the Investment and Trust Services Department. This role does not require a full book of accounts to service but often does have a few high-profile accounts assigned to you. To be successful in this role, you must be innovative, organized, and be a self-starter, and have good customer relations skills. Ideal candidates will have excellent leadership skills and a strong knowledge of trust functions, trust accounting, and investments, as well as strong sales networking skills to market Investment and Trust Services. VP of Investment and Trust Services Responsibilities

● Lead and manage the Trust Services department
● Establish and lead wealth management and trust business development
● Provide trust services training to promote referrals and cross-selling opportunities
● Develop strategic plans and monitor the annual Investment & Trust Services department budget
● Analyze customer/employee feedback to find solutions to make each experience better
● Expand understanding of wealth management and trust services to stimulate referrals
● Manage the administration of estates, trusts, guardianships, and wealth management accounts
● Administer trust accounts as needed and monitor any trust legal needs
● Develop and maintain relationships to grow the wealth management and trust business
● Promote growth of wealth management and trust services to clients and beneficiaries
● Identify, understand, evaluate, and manage risks and opportunities
● Maintain current understanding of regulations as they relate to fiduciary and investment issues
● Serve as Trust Committee Chairman

VP of Investment and Trust Services Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree required
● 5+ years of financial services relationship management experience required
● 3+ years of Trust, guardianship, and agency account management experience required
● 3+ years of Management experience required
● Excellent Sales Networking and business development skills required
● Trust accounting systems experience required
