Staff Accountant (Financial Reporting exp. req.) Description

Our client is looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to add to their team located in the Roseville area of the Twin Cities. You will be responsible for managing the full scope of accounting tasks including documenting financial transactions, managing AP/AR, preparing tax documentation, and supporting control requirements. As an army of one (for now) you will have the opportunity to grow an accounting team with the support of the international head office. Staff Accountant (Financial Reporting exp. req.) Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and payable
• Reconcile bank statements
• Post and pay supplier invoices
• Execute the weekly reminder process and collections management
• Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance
• Prepare and file state and provincial tax returns
• Organize and update financial records
• Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
• Perform monthly bank settlements
• Prepare documentation for internal and external auditors
• Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

Staff Accountant (Financial Reporting exp. req.) Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance required
• 3+ years of accounting experience required
• Intermediate to advanced Excel experience required
• Must be able to work in the Roseville, MN office daily
