Locations: United States - Remote
Salary: $100,000 - 125,000 (DOE) + Bonus
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k w/match, PTO, Travel Reimbursement
Travel: up to 40% (day/overnight travel depending on location)

[Remote] National Sales Strategy Manager - VMI Description

Our client is looking for a National Sales Strategy Manager to add to their team to oversee their Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the VMI program, identifying best in class technologies and work with Regional Managers on implementation. As the leading force in driving annual growth, you will help motivate, mentor and guide sales efforts and coordinate customer communications on existing programs. [Remote] National Sales Strategy Manager - VMI Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed annual sales growth goals for VMI program
• Manage VMI program trends and available services
• Ensure VMI offering is competitive in the marketplace
• Work with Sales team to identify, target, solicit, secure and implement new VMI accounts
• Align expectations with department managers for VMI performance, standards and metrics
• Understand customer requirements and service goals
• Communicate customer inventory needs to internal teams to ensure availability
• Establish processes for reviewing demand and customer-supplied forecasts
• Make strategic recommendations to meet and exceed performance goals
• Develop reports to communicate performance and drive operational improvement

[Remote] National Sales Strategy Manager - VMI Qualifications

• 4+ years of selling and/or supporting VMI programs experience required
• Experience developing sales strategy & implementation, successfully, in VMI programs required
• Manufacturing industry knowledge/experience required
• Data analysis and interpretation experience required
• Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, formulas) required
• Valid Driver’s license required
• Ability to travel 40% (day/overnight depending on location) required
