Location: Remote; Must reside in: CT, New York Metropolitan Area, or NJ
Base Salary: $130,000-$150,000 + Uncapped Commissions (paid monthly)
1st Year OTE: $150,000-$180,000

Territory: East Coast (VA to ME & Eastern Canada)
Travel: 50%

[REMOTE] Eastern Regional Sales Manager (lighting/electrical sales exp. req.) Description

Our client, a rapidly growing electrical manufacturer, is looking to add a new Regional Sales Manager to oversee their East Coast territory. Their National Sales Manager has been managing the territory since he joined the team last year and is ready to hand over the reins to focus on overall sales operations and strategy. The good news is the territory is up 18% YoY so you’re taking over a well-established region with additional opportunities waiting to be pursued. Last year alone, they saw a remarkable 21% increase in company sales and they’re continuing to surpass records. With a strong partnership between leadership and sales, their infrastructure has been rebuilt and is perfectly positioned to capitalize on countless opportunities. [REMOTE] Eastern Regional Sales Manager (lighting/electrical sales exp. req.) Responsibilities

• Create sales plans to achieve growth objectives
• Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of projects
• Oversee key relationships with agencies and distributors
• Assess the effectiveness of manufacturing representatives (9)
• Provide advice and support in negotiation processes
• Attend client visits in various regions
• Enhance agencies to align with identified areas of growth
• Generate reports, budgets, profit analyses, and sales forecasts
• Collaborate with different departments to develop product strategies
• Meet financial targets as well as other measurable key performance indicators (KPIs)

[REMOTE] Eastern Regional Sales Manager (lighting/electrical sales exp. req.) Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience within distribution channels required
• Experienced leading independent manufacturing reps required
• Current experience within a lighting OEM or lighting distribution company required
• Travel around 50% including overnights; quarterly travel to Canada required
