Location: Shawnee, KS
Base Salary: $55,000-$70,000 + Uncapped Commissions + Annual Bonus + Company Car

Outside Sales Representative Description

Our client is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join their team in Shawnee, KS to oversee their territory in Kansas. You will be responsible for identifying and closing new business as well as providing support to an existing client base. When you are not traveling to clients, you can work from your home office, but you be located near Shawnee to go into the office at least once a week for team meetings. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of success. Because they’re in the service industry where it is a lot of word-of-mouth referrals and repeat clients, you must have a relationship building sales approach to keep clients coming back. A “hunter” mentality is a must and with an uncapped commission, your results will never be limited. It generally takes about 3-6 months for sales to begin rolling in. To give you an idea on future earnings, their top sales rep earns around $60,000 combined from commissions and annual bonus in addition to their base. To be successful in this role, you must be highly engaged in the community and comfortable giving presentations in front of a group. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit and will treat your territory like your own business, you will have no problem earning a very good living. Important note: This position requires daily travel around Shawnee and although majority of the time you’ll be back home every night, there will be around 10% overnights

Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities

• Identify and close new business opportunities
• Travel to find prospective clients and schedule demos
• Research sources for developing prospective customers
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
• Utilize effective presentation skills to present new and existing services
• Recommend services based on client needs
• Document all sales activities and intelligence in CRM
• Identify industry competitors and market conditions
• Maximize ROI on all assigned associations, trade shows and conventions
• Meet revenue targets and measurable non-revenue KPIs

Outside Sales Representative Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B sales experience required
• CRM experience required
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Willingness/ability to travel locally up to 75% with 10% overnight
