Location: Remote, preferable located in Nevada, California or Arizona
Salary: $85,000 to $90,000 + Benefits
Job Type: Full Time

Field & Public Safety Manager Description

Our client in the telecommunications industry is seeking a Field Engineering and Public Safety Manager to add to their team. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you are responsible for travelling on-site to multiple distributed antenna system (DAS) projects and managing a team of engineers that will support the deployment and post deployment of the project. Our client is looking for someone with end-to-end Public Safety system experience and preferable someone with, or the ability to get, their FCC General Radiotelegrapher Operators License (GROL). Field & Public Safety Manager Responsibilities

• Support Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and Small Cell pre-deployment, deployment and post-deployment activities
• Site surveying commissioning, troubleshooting and optimization of DAS and Public Safety Systems
• Provide technical support and act as a liaison between customers, carriers and internal functions
• Provide estimations of hours and effort required to complete assigned tasks or scope projects
• Commission, integrate and troubleshoot wireless systems
• Work with design engineers to identify and correct system issues
• Work with the customers, carriers, sub-contractors, solution engineers, design engineers and field technicians to deploy distributed antenna systems (DAS) and small cells
• Configure, manage and analyze benchmark and acceptance testing of deployed systems
• Support bid developments
• Develop bill of materials
• Document installations in accordance with internal and external standards and requirements
• Review customer deliverables, identify risks and plans to mitigate risks
• Review and approve closeout packages
• Travel to customer and strategic partner sites

Field & Public Safety Manager Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License or ability to get license required
• 5+ years of telecommunication industry experience required
• 3+ years of DAS end-to-end deployment, integration and commissioning experience required
• Public Safety System experience required
• COAX structured cabling experience required
• RF testing equipment (Signal Generators + Spectrum Analyzers) experience required
• LTE wireless technology experience required
• Microsoft Office experience required
