Customer Service Representative (Insurance Industry) Description

Our client in the insurance industry is looking for a Customer Service Representative to add to their team in Salt Lake City, UT. You will be responsible for helping retail insurance producers across the country write, retain and service the policies available through our client. To be successful in this role, you must be naturally curious about understanding and solving problems, and have an aptitude for diffusing complex situations. Our client is looking for an individual with 1-3 years of experience in a call center and a desire to stay and grow with the company. If you enjoy providing excellent service, and want a small team environment with room to take on more responsibility, this is a great opportunity for you.

Customer Service Representative (Insurance Industry) Responsibilities

●    Respond to inbound calls as part of call center team
●    Provide prompt service to new and existing customers (insurance providers)
●    Resolve customer concerns and inquiries
●    Maintain records of contact and communication within client’s tracking tools
●    Deliver recommendations on current or future product needs to internal team 
●    Support activities related to marketing and customer relations 

Customer Service Representative (Insurance Industry) Qualifications

●    2+ years of call center experience required
●    Experience with property and casualty insurance accounts a plus
●    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
