Our client, in the power equipment service industry, is seeking a motivated salesperson to drive business growth within the Hartford, CT, to Providence, RI territory. Remote work is available when not visiting customers, and you can live in CT, RI, or nearby states. Our client desires a dynamic, customer-focused individual to find new business opportunities and maintain existing relationships. You will leverage your skills to promote and secure new service contracts with commercial businesses, including hospitals and universities. This role involves a balanced focus on acquiring new business and nurturing existing relationships. The average deal size typically ranges from $2k to $10k, with a one-month sales cycle.
To ensure your success, you will receive comprehensive training under the guidance of the Sales Manager and ongoing assistance from the inside sales team. Candidates with sales experience in the service industry (i.e., Generators/Power, HVAC) or a mechanical background are highly valued.
