Water Mitigation Technician

Are you passionate about water mitigation and contents cleaning? Do you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment?

Join our established insurance restoration firm as a Water Mitigation/Remediation Technician. We specialize in various services including lead abatement, mold remediation, asbestos removal, and general demolition/cleanup. If you are a highly skilled and motivated individual, this position offers industry certifications, additional training, and a chance to work on exciting projects. Higher pay scale is for candidates with actual industry experience and or certifications!

Job Requirements:

  • Possess viable computer skills and tablet operation
  • Team Player and Good Communicator
  • Cleaning and Janitorial Experience
  • Packing & Un-Packing experience, Contents Track Experience is an advantage
  • House Cleaning, Final and Rough Wash
  • Minor Demo and Tear Out
  • English speaking, Spanish speaking is a bonus
  • Good Driving Record & Chauffeur's License is Plus
  • Xactimate and Sketch Capability is preferred
  • IICRC certifications a plus

As an emergency response-based company centrally located in Michigan, X-Cel Restoration provides 24-hour emergency extraction and restoration response to over 13 counties in Southeastern Michigan.
When faced with mold, water, or smoke damage, the trained and experienced technical staff of X-Cel Restoration will bring mitigation and restoration solutions to your door. There is no substitute for experience.
At X-Cel Restoration, we maintain a 15,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility to decontaminate and store all your salvageable personal property. Whether the loss is due to mold, water or smoke and as long as it can be cleaned and restored, we can and will get the job done.
We'll work directly with your insurance company to coordinate every aspect of your claim. From its inception to completion, a personal project manager will help you explore your options and maintain a responsive relationship with your insurer throughout the process.
