Griffon Aerospace, a leader in the Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) industry, is seeking a talented Program Manager to support UAS programs. Our Madison, AL based small business is seeking innovative individuals who want to join an up tempo, maker culture that proudly provides products and services to support the American Warfighter!

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • 5–10 years of program or project management experience, ideally in aerospace, defense, or aviation.
  • Direct experience with UAS/UAV development, integration, testing, or operations.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, developmental and operational testing, and military UAS employment.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of UAS capabilities and DoD operations, including developmental and operational test of UAS and its employment, as well as system-level knowledge in advanced sensor systems and technology development for UAS integration and testing.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, science, or relevant field; experience in lieu of education will be considered.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and delivery requirements.
  • Familiarity with UAS ground control stations, communication links, payloads, and data systems.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles and program management practices (planning, scheduling, risk management, configuration management).
  • Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interface effectively with other departments, all levels of management, customers, and government representatives.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders - engineers, subcontractors, regulators, and customers.
  • Proficiency with program management tools and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, comprehend and analyze complex problems, and develop solutions.
  • Ability to travel including field locations. Travel estimated at 10-25%.
