Job Description

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Conduct safety analyses and adhere to industry regulations and established protocols.

  • Maintain strict compliance with safety and operational standards.

  • Accurately document all maintenance activities to track turbine performance and operational trends.

  • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures.

  • Support root cause analyses for equipment failures.

  • Collaborate with engineers and field teams to improve turbine reliability and efficiency.

Required Skills and Competencies

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years' experience as a Wind Turbine Technician, electrical experience, or related

  • Hands-on problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrating strong technical skills and a commitment to safety.

  • Experience with hand and power tools and can operate independently while maintaining high attention to detail.

  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing 300-foot ladders; comfortable working in outdoor environments.

  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a U.S. passport.

  • Certification in medium and high-voltage equipment is preferred, along with a willingness to travel as needed.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Base Pay: $28 - $38 (based on experience, education, and skillset) plus on-call pay.

  • 5% Annual Performance Bonus (based on individual performance and company metrics) and 5% Availability Bonus.

  • Day 1 Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), HSA company contributions, and FSA options.

  • Benefits after 90 days: 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting, life insurance, disability coverage, paid parental leave, and other optional plans.
