Craft Helper
Project: EPT4 Border Wall Project – Antelope Wells, New Mexico
Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based

Position Overview

Durus Industrial is seeking dependable craft helpers to support execution of the EPT4 Border Wall Project located in Antelope Wells, New Mexico.

This position supports multiple construction disciplines including concrete, reinforcing steel, welding, equipment operations, material handling, and general labor activities in remote heavy civil construction environments.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled craft personnel with daily construction activities
  • Support concrete placement, reinforcing steel installation, welding, excavation, and material handling operations
  • Load, unload, stage, and organize tools, materials, and equipment
  • Perform general labor duties including cleanup, spotting, hand excavation, and jobsite support tasks
  • Assist with maintaining safe and organized work areas
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment as directed
  • Maintain production schedules while adhering to strict quality and safety standards
  • Support daily coordination with field supervision and project management teams

Qualifications

  • Prior construction experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in physically demanding construction environments
  • Willingness to learn multiple construction trades and support field operations
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety compliance at all times
  • Strong understanding of basic construction safety practices preferred
  • Ability to work in remote outdoor environments under physically demanding conditions
