Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor 7-3/3-11/11-7

Job Summary:

Mountainside Skilled Nursing and Rehab, a quality skilled nursing facility located in Mountainside, New Jersey, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Weekend Supervisor. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising nurses and aides in our Long Term Care facility, working closely with our Director of Nurses to implement recommended changes, and ensuring the highest level of resident care.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise nurses and aides in the Long Term Care facility

  • Work with the Director of Nurses to implement recommended changes and improvements

  • Monitor resident care and report changes to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing

  • Assess newly admitted or readmitted residents and document in the 24-hour report

  • Monitor nursing staff to ensure proper documentation on MARs, nurses notes, accident/incident reports, physician's orders, and treatment records

  • Liaise between nursing staff and attending physicians to ensure efficient communication
