Location: Remote - Thousand Oaks, CA (PST preferred)

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 12 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $67/$75 per hour (based on experience)


Summary of the Role

Join a large biotech pharmaceutical leader as a contract R&D Resource Management Project Lead. You will drive cross-functional initiatives supporting resource management, process improvement, and system implementation across global teams. This role requires strong project management experience, stakeholder partnership, and the ability to execute and align solutions in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple projects to enhance and optimize the R&D resource management ecosystem
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders
  • Manage project timelines, risks, and dependencies for on-time execution
  • Drive integration between resource supply and forecasting applications
  • Align business processes with system capabilities to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Pilot and implement innovative solutions tying allocations to just-in-time LMS learning assignments
  • Gather, document, and clarify business requirements through workshops and interviews
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria for system enhancements
  • Partner with technical teams to ensure functional needs are met
  • Oversee training material development and documentation for new processes and features
  • Support onboarding and adoption for R&D functions
  • Serve as a liaison between business teams, product owners, and technical partners
  • Communicate progress and project outcomes clearly to leadership and cross-functional groups
Required Experience & Skills
  • Hands-on project management within large, complex or ambiguous environments
  • Proven stakeholder management and organizational skills
  • Experience with system implementations or large datasets
  • Ability to ramp quickly and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong communication, documentation, and facilitation abilities
  • Demonstrated stability and ownership in prior related roles
