Job description

Manual Probe Station Expert – Electrical Component Technician


  • 2+ years’ experience with manual probe station operation, including installation, commissioning, calibration, operating procedures, experimental design, fixture design, equipment operation, results, reporting, and documentation
  • Recent and direct experience with polymers, characterization, dielectric materials, and S-parameters
  • Skilled in data analysis and troubleshooting across probe stations and related lab equipment
  • Perform material characterization, data analysis, and share results with the team
  • Lab focused on PCB, FPC, components, and circuit boards (materials and process focus)
  • Ensure lab maintains full capability and capacity for electrical and material testing
  • Fill the gap and assist engineers with setup, operation, and validation of new systems installed in the lab


Type: Contract

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: San Diego, CA

Pay Rate: $45–$65 (DOE)

Schedule: Must be willing to work afternoon shifts (e.g., 2pm–8pm); this role may require weekend shifts
