Travel L&D RN (Labor Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)
Start: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 6:30p-7am

**2+ year L&D experience required

**ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE required

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phase of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

  • Scope of role: LDRP provides nursing care to antepartum triage, active labor, postpartum (mom and baby), and special care nursery babies, nursery.

  • EMR = MedHost (inpatient), GE Centricity (OB), Athena (Clinic)

  • Number of beds in unit: 1 Triage, 3 Labor, 4 Post-Partum

  • Patient ratio = 1:1 โ€“ 1:4

  • No floating required

  • No call required

  • Scrubs = Any color scrubs - full uniform, no t-shirts/hoodies & only undershirts to be worn under scrub top.
