  • We are seeking an experienced IBM webMethods professional with over 10 years of integration experience who can own, operate, and scale mission-critical integrations while applying SRE principles.
  • The role requires deep technical expertise, operational excellence, and the ability to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of integration platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Integration & Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations using IBM webMethods (IS, Broker/UM, MWS, TN, APIG).
  • Build reusable services, pipelines, and canonical models following integration best practices.
  • Handle complex B2B, API, EDI, and enterprise integration scenarios.
  • Perform root cause analysis and permanent fixes for recurring integration issues.

SRE & Operations
  • Own production stability, reliability, and availability of webMethods environments.
  • Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for integration services. Lead incident management, post-incident reviews, and corrective actions.
  • Implement resiliency, failover, disaster recovery, and capacity planning strategies. Reduce toil through automation and proactive monitoring.

Performance & Monitoring
  • Tune webMethods components for high throughput and low latency.
  • Implement monitoring using tools like Elastic, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or OEM tools.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks and reliability risks.
  • DevOps & Automation Integrate webMethods with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Automate deployments, configuration management, and environment builds. Support containerization or cloud-based deployments where applicable.
