Water Transport Operator
Water Truck Operator / Driver hauls loads of water from various locations and cleaning tanks bottoms. Also responsible for maintenance of all equipment associated with the water trucks such as hoses and fittings, Accurately gauges water tanks when hauling water. Must complete all paperwork.
Position Requirements
Water Transport Operator Responsibilities
  • Safely operate water truck to haul loads of water from various locations and transfer oil between locations. Must evaluate the daily load hauling schedule to figure out the most efficient route to follow when going to locations.
  • Accurately gauge both oil and water tanks when hauling water transferring oil on a daily basis. Fills out tickets at locations as well as at the disposal to report how many bbls, were hauled/transferred.
  • Assure that paperwork such as timesheets, water tickets, and records of loads hauled/transferred are completed accurately and forwarded to supervisor daily.
  • Assure that trucks are maintained and in good working condition.
  • Check oil, tires, hoses and fitting daily.
  • Notify supervisor of all problems immediately and perform minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs as necessary.
  • Water Transport Operators assist in cleanup of spills on locations as directed by supervisor.
  • Assist other team drivers whenever necessary.
  • Must be willing to work overtime.
  • Dependable attendance, no unauthorized absences.
  • Attend all required safety meetings.
  • Responsible for conducting all field activities safely and accurately.
  • Responsible for operating and maintaining all company equipment and property within the Safe Operating Standards Handbook guidelines.

  • 1+ years of oilfield experience
