Job description

R-Works is regarded as one of the top independent service and restoration shops in the country. We are a low volume, boutique repair shop catering to some of the top collectors in the world. You wonโ€™t find any jewelry or watch display cases we are strictly service and restoration. We are looking to assemble an All-Star team for our new facility located at the luxurious One Flagler Building in downtown Miami.
We've added a lot of new tooling for our new shop. 2 Witschi Chronoscope X1 units, 2 Ergolift electric height adjustable watchmaker benches, ElmaSolvex VA cleaning machine to add to our already very tooled shop which already included two lapping machines, half a dozen lathes, Creviosier refinishing unit, laser welder, micro-tig welder and more.
We do premium work for premium clients that appreciate extra level of quality that we are known for. We work exclusively on Rolex and Tudor from the 1960s through current references. We're are NOT a high volume shop even though we are bombarded with more service requests than we can accept. Some months are tougher than others but we will not sacrifice quality for volume so this number is not in stone. We are extremely passionate about the work we do bordering fanatical. The extra effort and pursuit to constantly get better and do high quality work is noticed and has defines our company culture.
Our initial watchmaking team will include:
1 - Master Watchmaker in a leadership role. Rolex experience is a must for this position. We expect 10+ years of total watchmaker experience but not a deal breaker. Experience on a lathe for bush and sleeve work would be fantastic but not a deal breaker. The candidate we imagine will make a starting salary of $100k/yr and we will reach bonuses to take them to $120k+. If this sounds like you please apply.
1 - Very skill watchmaker that can work well with or without supervision. We expect 5 or more years of total watchmaker experience but not a deal breaker. The candidate we imagine will make a starting salary of $75k/yr and we will reach bonuses to take them to $90k+. If this sounds like you please apply.
