Summary:
- Warehouse colleague responsible for helping deliver a wide range of products, from life-saving personal protective equipment to microscopes for educational use.
- Works on the front lines supporting science to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
- Role emphasizes hard work, dependability, teamwork, and making a meaningful impact for customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities - Process customer orders daily to meet customer expectations.
- Work in one or more process paths, including receiving, picking, packing, or shipping.
- Package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures.
- Complete documentation requirements for hazardous materials.
- Ensure inventory is stored properly.
- Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive work experience.
- Pick selected items and prepare them for shipment.
- Place items into boxes with appropriate packing materials and documentation.
- Inspect quality and quantity of items before shipment.
- Wrap and prepare items for delivery to customers.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of general warehouse experience.
- Cherry picker experience is mandatory for this position.
- Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers).
- Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals).
- Experience with computers and scanning equipment.
- Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time, including walking, stooping, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Ability to solve problems quickly.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Dependability.
- Willingness to work as a hard-working, enthusiastic team player.
