Summary: 
  • Warehouse colleague responsible for helping deliver a wide range of products, from life-saving personal protective equipment to microscopes for educational use.
  • Works on the front lines supporting science to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
  • Role emphasizes hard work, dependability, teamwork, and making a meaningful impact for customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities 
  • Process customer orders daily to meet customer expectations.
  • Work in one or more process paths, including receiving, picking, packing, or shipping.
  • Package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures.
  • Complete documentation requirements for hazardous materials.
  • Ensure inventory is stored properly.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive work experience.
  • Pick selected items and prepare them for shipment.
  • Place items into boxes with appropriate packing materials and documentation.
  • Inspect quality and quantity of items before shipment.
  • Wrap and prepare items for delivery to customers.
Required Skills 
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of general warehouse experience.
  • Cherry picker experience is mandatory for this position.
  • Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers).
  • Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals).
  • Experience with computers and scanning equipment.
  • Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time, including walking, stooping, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Dependability.
  • Willingness to work as a hard-working, enthusiastic team player.
