Insurance Sales Producer (W2 | Base + Commission)

Here at the Farmers Insurance District 35 Austin Office, we are looking for a confident, highly motivated individual interested in a great sales opportunity.

*This is a W2 position offering a base salary plus commission for individuals interested in building a long-term career in sales and/or insurance.

In this role, youll work directly with clients to understand their needs, provide tailored insurance solutions, and build lasting relationships. This is a consultative sales position that combines prospecting, client education, and account management.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established
  • Monthly & Quarterly.
  • Prospect and generate new leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and marketing efforts.
  • Conduct needs-based consultations and recommend appropriate insurance policies (life, health, property, etc.).
  • Provide personalized consultations and build long-term relationships with clients via follow-ups and customer service.
  • Grow and maintain a client portfolio through excellent customer service and follow-ups.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, products, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to sales.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Able to demonstrate strong organizational & time management skills.
  • Comfortable learning new products, systems, and sales processes

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven sales or customer service experience is a plus (experience in the insurance industry preferred).
  • Must have or be willing to obtain relevant state insurance license(s).
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
