PRN/Part Time Home Health RN - After Hours On-Call Support

As a Home Health ON CALL Registered Nurse, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

  • Provide patient care after-hours as needs arise for our patients
  • Enable patients to spend quality time with loved ones and participating 
  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team comprised of a physician, LPN, CNA, HHA, social worker, and volunteers to carry out the patient’s plan of care.
  • Perform patient assessments, check vitals, evaluate breathing, monitor pain, administer prescribed medication and treatments.
  • Ensure accessibility of medical equipment, prescribed oxygen, medication and other supplies
  • Educate family on the patient’s prognosis, changes in care plan, medication and hospice goals.
  • Take a holistic approach to care that engages the patient’s mind, body, spirit and family.

A few must-haves for our Home Health ON CALL Registered Nurses:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current RN License in SC or compact license.
  • 2 years' experience as a nurse with 1 year of experience in home health, preferred.
  • Proficient computers skills and workplace software knowledge.
  • Work with people, function well under stress, use clinical judgment, be creative and accept challenges.
  • Able to effectively deal with multiple changes based on patient needs and scheduling.
  • Clinical proficiency in nursing, strong communication skills, and compassion.
  • CPR Certification
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
