ARSIEM is looking for an amazingly talented OCO Virtualization Product Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for cyber mission systems, with a focus on virtualization and containerization technologies, in support of OCO.
This position will support one of our Government clients in Columbia, Maryland.
Responsibilities
  • Provide thought leadership and work with key stakeholders to understand requirements, build partnerships, and provide technology solutions for virtualized and containerized environments.
  • Lead Product backlog refinement, ensuring features and capabilities for virtualization and containerization platforms are well defined, prioritized, and decomposed into actionable user stories.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, and Scrum Masters to drive Program Increment (PI) execution, risk mitigation, and cross-team collaboration for virtualization and containerization projects.
  • Engage with Joint Cyber Weapons stakeholders, USCYBERCOM, NSA, Services and CCMDs to gather feedback and align capability delivery for virtualized and containerized solutions.
  • Participate in technical exchange meetings (TEMs), operational working groups, and other OCO forums related to virtualization and containerization.
  • Partner with clients to understand business objectives, user behaviors, and product vision, develop product concepts, roadmaps, test plans, and functional specifications for virtualized and containerized applications.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to conceptualize, design, and deliver multi-platform applications for virtualized and containerized environments.
  • Lead engagements alongside company partners as well as the top designers and technologists in the industry

Minimum Qualifications
  • Min 12 years with Bachelors, 10 years with Masters, or 16 years with HS Diploma or Associates Degree; significant portion of experience in virtualization and containerization technologies.
  • Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university. MBA or similar degree is a plus
  • SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager or similar Agile certification(s) is desirable. VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience working with government agencies or contractors in the intelligence or defense sectors is highly desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies such as vSphere and vCenter, orchestration of virtual machine deployment and management. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes, and concepts of shared service meshes with services such as Keycloak, MinIO, and Vault.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, along with experience with Agile methodologies and cloud services. Proven experience in building enterprise-grade products from concept to launch. Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies, including various infrastructure platforms. Proficiency with agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in the development of products and/or management in a development environment. They build and implement product strategies aligned with the OCO PMO's vision, develop roadmaps, and prioritize features for virtualization and containerization platforms.
  • Facilitate interactions between all stakeholders and actively interacting. Good with documentation.
  • Hands-on personality, take ownership, actively engage with the team, constant engagement with key stakeholders. Understand team needs, get them what their needs are. Senior Product Managers guide and mentor less experienced product managers, collaborating to deliver products on time and within budget. They work with various stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and other teams, to gather feedback and shape product requirements.
  • Comprehensive training on installing, configuring, and managing VMware vSphere.
  • In-depth training on administering Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
  • Training on the NATS.io messaging system for building scalable and resilient distributed systems.
  • Training that demonstrates expertise in designing, implementing, and managing a best-in-class cybersecurity program.
