Pediatric Psychiatrist (MD/DO) - Seacoast, NH

Come join the most innovative pediatric practice in New Hampshire! Our pediatric practice in the beautiful Seacoast region of New Hampshire is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our inter-disciplinary team. We are committed to providing the highest quality, family-centered, and fully integrated care to our community's youngest residents, from infancy through young adulthood.

About the Role:

As a Pediatric Psychiatrist with Core Physicians, you'll be a vital part of an integrated healthcare team. You'll work closely with Primary Care, nursing, care managers, and behavioral health clinicians to provide comprehensive medical and behavioral care. This includes:

  • Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for pediatric patients (ages 0-22)

  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents with a variety of complex psychiatric conditions

  • Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications

  • Provide weekly Collaborative Care Management caseload consultation to behavioral health care managers

  • Provide telephonic or electronic case consultation with primary care providers on patient care plans and treatment decisions, offering psychiatric expertise and guidance

Qualifications and Skills

We're looking for a candidate who is passionate about pediatric mental health and thrives in team-based environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Completed training at an accredited medical college/university with Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)

  • Board-certification, or board-eligibility, in pediatric psychiatry

  • Experience in Collaborative Care Management (CoCM) or liaison psychiatry

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting

  • Ability to flex between outpatient and inpatient settings, as needed
