Job Description:

Vaxcom Services LLC (a Parsons company) is looking for several Security Specialists to join our team for a temporary, sensitive project supporting the IC! In this role you will get to provide oversight, direction, coordination, and support as part of a mid-sized team working on a special project.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Please note this is a short-term temporary project that will require schedule flexibility by those hired.

  • Providing physical and technical security related oversight and guidance to both cleared and uncleared personnel at multiple classified facilities.

  • Using knowledge of IC security related regulations, policies, concepts, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to coordinate the secure movement of equipment/materials from/to multiple locations.

  • Demonstrating a level of analytical thinking to provide input to senior facility leadership regarding best practices in a changing environment.

  • Using superior communication skills to keep all involved stakeholders knowledgeable and up to date regarding plans for movement of personnel and equipment/materials between multiple locations.

  • Demonstrating maximum flexibility, adaptability, and collaboration to a rapidly changing environment.

  • Acting both independently and as part of a larger team to bring about mission success in a dynamic environment.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a physical security officer or relevant job category in the IC.

  • Must have experience working in a classified environment, preferably for an IC agency.

  • Must have basic experience in understanding and applying security practices, concepts, and procedures.

  • Must have maximum schedule flexibility and be able to work all days of the week potentially for extended hours as needed by this project.

  • Must have own transportation and a valid U.S. driver's license.

  • Must be able to provide excellent customer service and demonstrate effective communication to a diverse group of stakeholders, both cleared and uncleared.

  • Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to successfully handle changing requirements.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience working with large scale facilities moves or renovations requiring monitoring/directing uncleared personnel in classified facilities.

  • Experience coordinating schedules/assignments of teams to multiple locations including transportation resources and assets.

  • Experience working with compliance planning and documentation.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​
