The Role

Nex has a bold vision: "Create the best motion games for hundreds of millions of people to play on". This is achieved by both in house game cells, and also with our exciting second party studio partners. As our Software Engineer (Studio Support), we proactively share knowledge and maintain examples with our studio partners. We engage in the whole content creation process, streamlining feature adoption and ensuring games are delivered in high quality to our customers.

What You'll Do
  • Support external studios in implementing games with our technology stack.
  • Collaborate with our producer team to ensure smooth delivery of games and content in our pipeline.
  • Involve in pre-production of new games, including ideation, prototyping and motion mechanics exploration.
  • Identify bottlenecks and pain points for game developers, including designers and engineers.
  • Build tools or refine processes to streamline game development, from ideation to deployment.
Must Have
  • Hands-on experience with Unity.
  • 3 - 5 years of software development experience.
  • Experience maintaining software libraries and / or writing documentation.
  • Experience with tooling and automation.
Should Have
  • An obsession with code and product quality.
  • A growth mindset, always looking for more.
  • Excitement about working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
  • Experience building and shipping products using Unity.
  • A love for staying active and healthy, with a passion for helping others do the same.
