Our growing client currently has a 1st shift shipping and receiving associate need immediately.

The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders.
  • Inspect received goods for damage or defects and report discrepancies to the appropriate parties.
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards and shipping guidelines.
  • Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation for outgoing shipments.
  • Coordinate with UPS and FEDEX and schedule pickup and delivery of shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and update inventory systems as needed.
  • Organize and maintain the shipping and receiving area in a clean and orderly manner.

Ideal Experience:

  • Knowledge of warehouse/shipping operations and loading/unloading procedures.
  • Data entry skills with accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems is helpful.
