Are you a road warrior who prefers being paid for your efficiency rather than just "clocking in"? We are seeking a Field Technician specializing in IT Hardware Implementation for a national server refresh project. This role is ideal for a Low Voltage professional who excels in physical hardware deployment and system integration. You won't just be swapping boxes; you'll be ensuring every component of the new infrastructure is correctly connected and communicating with the network.
The Pay Structure (Unique Performance-Based Pay)
We reward efficiency. Unlike standard hourly roles, this position pays per successful site completion.
  • Per-Site Pay: Predetermined rates based on project scope (Averages $1,250/week).
  • Travel Pay: $15.60/hour while driving to/between sites.
  • Training Pay: $18.60/hour during onboarding.
  • Per Diem: $40.00/day for meals/incidental expenses.
  • Company Vehicle: Provided for all project-related travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • On-Site Refresh: Perform server installations, Point of Sale (POS) swaps, and network hardware refreshes.
  • Network Infrastructure: Execute structured cabling (Cat 5/6) and low-voltage terminations according to strict project specs.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose connectivity issues and collaborate with remote support teams to bring sites live.
  • Documentation: Real-time reporting of site completion, photos, and hardware serial tracking via mobile platforms.
