Purpose
TRP is a preferred global retail partner that will be opening and operating store across the US and beyond.
We are looking for a hardworking, goal-oriented individual to join our trim/packaging department.
The Trim Lead is responsible for executing production plans and following the Company's operating procedures. Trim Leads carry out the day-to-day assignments and tasks of the medical Cannabis production cycle.
Core Responsibilities

  • Intermediate knowledge, as well as the ability to be taught and guided in areas related to harvesting, drying, trimming, and curing.
  • Lead and supervise a team of up to 8 Trimmers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Consistently perform daily work in the trim area such as removing buds from stalks, visually inspecting the buds, hand trimming, daily cleaning task and basic record keeping.
  • Monitor and manage employee productivity to meet production goals.
  • Oversee the meticulous trimming of medical marijuana plants to ensure they meet Cookies Retail quality standards.
  • Conduct quality control checks and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all state and local regulations governing the trimming, processing, and handling of medical marijuana.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations and facilitate compliance within the department.
  • Maintain accurate records of trimmed products, ensuring proper weighing and tracking.
  • Assist with inventory management and reporting as needed.
  • Uphold a clean, organized, and sanitized work area to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Enforce sanitation and hygiene procedures.
  • Promote effective communication and teamwork among team members.
  • Encourage a positive and productive work atmosphere.
  • Complete assigned duties within established timeframe
  • Willing to perform other duties assigned
  • Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of grow warehouse
  • Follow Company SOP's and comply with all safety regulations.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Passion for cannabis culture
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional education or certifications related to cGMP manufacturing, culinary professions, horticulture, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in cannabis trimming or similar industry experience.
  • Knowledge of medical marijuana regulations in Florida is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Able to clearly outline objectives, and create, assess and evaluate timelines
  • Consistently delivers high-quality outputs with strong attention to detail.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a cGMP inspected manufacturing facility. This role routinely uses gloves and scissors, and employees are required to wear coveralls, hairnets, and other PPE, including at times, face covers. This position regularly requires long hours. Weekend work opportunities are available and, at times, may be required.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms and may be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.

This position does not require travel.
