Combiner theorie et exercices pratiques pour traduire du francais vers l'anglais des textes populaires issus de domaines varies (journalisme, vulgarisation scientifique, publicite), avec et sans outils informatiques. Decouvrir les competences de recherche et de transfert necessaires pour progresser vers des textes plus complexes et specialises.

Competences:

  • Maitrise de l'anglais (passif) et du francais (actif) a un niveau professionnel.
  • Maitrise en traduction ou en traductologie, reconnaissance par une association ou ordre professionnel de traductrices et de traducteurs reconnue par l'Ecolepour la combinaison de transfert de anglais vers le francais, ou de l'experienceprofessionnelle et universitaire equivalente.
  • Grande experience professionnelle en traduction de l'anglais vers le francais, de preference au Canada.
  • De l'experience en enseignement au niveau universitaire est un atout.

Taches:

  • Donner des cours et gerer des activites en classe et des evaluations principalement en francais, de temps en temps en anglais.
  • Creer et entretenir un site pour le cours dans le systeme de gestion de l'apprentissage de l'universite.
  • Choisir des textes source qui conviennent au niveau des etudiantes et des etudiants et aux objectifs d'apprentissage du cours.
  • Presenter des elements de methodologies, de processus et de techniques efficaces en traduction
