Job description

Job Title: Head Track Coach
Classification: Exempt
Reports to: Athletic Director
Overview
This position reports to the Athletic Director and is responsible for the entire Track program. They are to oversee the Track coaching staff and are responsible for each team that falls underneath the Track program. The Head Track coach is expected to assist Hebron Christian Academy in achieving its vision: A commitment to excellence on and off the field.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field required
  • Experience in an Educational setting required
  • Experience as a Track Coach required
Spiritual and Personal Expectations
  • Acknowledges Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
  • Commits to faithful active service in a local orthodox, evangelical church and personal prayer and Bible study.
  • Commits to model spiritual, academic, physical and social growth personally and professionally.
  • Maintains a Christian lifestyle that reflects the biblical perspective of integrity and appropriate personal and family relationships, personal conduct and moral behavior.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Vision and oversight of the entire Track program.
  • Coordinates and leads the entire Track coaching staff.
  • Interacts with the public, visitors, service vendors, and community.
  • Schedules in-season and out of season for Track program.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to traverse various athletic grounds and facilities.
