Job description

Automotive Service Advisor / Service Sales Specialist

Location: Houston, TX

Compensation: $75,000-$150,000+ total earning potential

About the Opportunity

AutoShop Recruiting is partnering with Adams Automotive in Houston, TX to identify high-potential automotive service and tire-industry professionals who are ready to step into a true Automotive Service Advisor career path.

This opportunity is especially strong for someone currently working in a customer-facing tire/service environment, such as Discount Tire, who understands pace, customer urgency, vehicle service, sales process, and the discipline it takes to win on the front line. If you have built a strong foundation in tires, service coordination, customer communication, and fast-paced automotive retail, this is a chance to step into one of the highest-performing independent repair organizations in the country.

Adams Automotive is a private-equity-backed, growth-oriented company with the operating discipline, training, leadership, and earning potential of the NFL of the automotive service industry. The best Service Advisors in this environment are making six figures because they know how to build trust, control the customer experience, sell needed work with integrity, and keep the shop moving.

What You'll Do

  • Greet customers, build trust quickly, and create a high-energy first impression
  • Listen to customer concerns and translate them into clear repair orders
  • Review inspections, estimates, maintenance needs, tires, brakes, alignments, and repair recommendations
  • Present service recommendations with confidence, urgency, and integrity
  • Communicate clearly with customers throughout the repair process
  • Coordinate workflow with technicians, managers, and other advisors
  • Follow up with customers, drive approvals, and help the shop operate at a high level
  • Deliver a premium hospitality experience that keeps customers coming back

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of automotive service, tire sales, service coordination, assistant manager, crew chief, or customer-facing automotive retail experience preferred
  • Strong customer communication and sales instincts
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced service environment with high expectations
  • Competitive, coachable, and motivated by growth and income potential
  • Ability to build trust, overcome objections, and keep customers informed
  • Organized enough to manage multiple repair orders, estimates, calls, and follow-ups
  • Professional, team-first, and willing to learn a higher-level repair-shop operating model
  • Valid driver's license

Great Backgrounds For This Role

  • Discount Tire Assistant Manager, Service Coordinator, Sales Apprentice, Crew Chief, Service Assistant, or Tire Technician ready for a bigger career path
  • Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer
  • Tire and wheel sales or service management
  • High-volume customer service or automotive retail leadership
  • Fast-paced sales roles where urgency, trust, and follow-up matter

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Six-figure earning potential for top-performing Service Advisors
  • Step up from tire/service retail into full-service automotive repair sales
  • Private-equity-backed growth company with serious operating discipline
  • High-performance culture, strong leadership, and real advancement opportunity
  • One of the strongest independent automotive repair platforms in the country

How to Apply

If you are in the tire or automotive service industry and want to turn that foundation into a true six-figure Service Advisor career, we would like to speak with you.
