Company Overview
Lakewood Park Events, LLC encompasses Catalpa Grove Event Venue, Lakewood Park Campground, and Lakewood Park Cafe all situated on the historic Lakewood Park Property in Barnesville, PA. With over 110 events hosted annually and a growing campground with 130+ sites, we are dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our guests. Our campground store includes retail space and cafe along with a future full bar (all open to the public). Our campground is open year round.
Summary
The Bartender will work varying shifts providing exceptional experience for our guests while serving beers, specialty drinks, or custom drinks. The bartender will take food orders, clear tables, clean equipment, etc. In addition to this role, this candidate will cross-train and may assist guests with campground reservations, retail sales, liquor sales, and cafe/ice cream/coffee sales while operating our Toast point-of-sale and NewBook reservation systems.
Responsibilities
  • Make bar drinks per customer requests
  • Use Toast POS system to track and bill customer orders
  • Assist guests with making RV, tent, or cabin reservations (in-person or over the phone).
  • Scan items, collect payment, and provide applicable change for retail and cafe sales.
  • Assist with Ice Cream scooping, creating Sundaes, serving bakery items, etc in the cafe as applicable.
  • Assist with managing bar Inventory
  • Assist with social posts / marketing
  • Foster positive relationships with co-workers and vendors.
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned

Requirements
  • 2+ years in bartending required
  • RAMP Certification
  • Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of social media platforms / posting content
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures
  • Ability to work weekends (will get at least one weekend off per month)
Hours
  • This role is part-time (15-28 hrs per week) and will primarily work a mixture of weekdays and weekends - either AM/PM shifts (can likely be flexible with proper notice).
