Job description

About the Opportunity

Are you a high-performing Account Manager who thrives in the fast-paced environment of an early-stage startup? Do you have a track record of owning commercial relationships and driving growth within the healthcare space?

Our client is a rapidly growing, venture-backed healthcare technology company that is rewriting the playbook for how healthcare SMBs operate. They are looking for an entrepreneurial, commercially-driven Account Manager to take ownership of a defined book of business, champion customer success, and aggressively drive expansion and retention.

If you are energized by the chaos of a Seed-to-Series B environment and love building deep relationships with executive stakeholders, we want to hear from you.
Now that the product is proven and they've landed massive enterprise networks, they need an Account Manager to expand inside those networks

What You’ll Do
  • Own the Number: Take full commercial ownership of a dedicated book of SMB healthcare accounts, directly managing net revenue retention (NRR), gross revenue retention (GRR), and expansion ARR.

  • Drive Expansion & Retention: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, navigate renewals, and consistently meet or exceed your commercial quotas.

  • Manage Executive Relationships: Build trust and maintain high-level relationships with client executives (CEOs, COOs, and VP-level stakeholders) across clinics, research sites, and health tech companies.

  • Build the Playbook: Operate autonomously in an agile environment, helping to build out account management processes and playbooks where they don't yet exist.

What You Bring
  • Experience: 2 to 8 years of experience in a B2B Account Management or post-sale role, specifically selling into or managing healthcare SMBs (clinics, research sites, or health tech companies).

  • Commercial Ownership: 1–2+ years of explicit experience owning retention and expansion quotas. You must have a proven track record of hitting commercial numbers.

  • Startup DNA: Background working at a fast-growing, seed-to-Series B startup where you successfully operated without a pre-built playbook.

  • Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the SMB healthcare ecosystem (not enterprise pharma/biotech). Experience at companies like Headway, Tennr, Latent Health, Tandem, or AI Growth Therapy is a major plus.

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university (Top 25) is preferred, though exceptional relevant experience will absolutely be considered.

Why Join?

This is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a high-growth health-tech company, work directly with a stellar leadership team, and significantly impact the company’s revenue trajectory.
