About You
MD² is hiring a Temporary Registered Nurse, with outstanding medical skills as well as exceptional interpersonal skills. This role is available immediately and is expected to last six months or longer. The schedule will be approximately three days per week during the summer, increasing to four to five days per week in the fall, with shifts of 4-5 hours per day.
This position provides a unique clinic experience where caring for your patients is a joy and a gift and care is no longer dictated by minutes on the clock. A Day in the Life
In this position you will work with two other medical staff members to perform various primary care tasks in addition to clinic administrative duties, with the goal of delivering unparalleled experiences to your patients, at each and every touchpoint. We believe that a truly great experience (unknown in healthcare) is made up of every considered detail, which is why MD² remains best-in-class. Some of your responsibilities would include:
  • Greet patients at the door and assist them throughout their appointment.
  • Ensure the highest level of empathy, kindness and understanding in delivering patient care.
  • Contribute to the professional atmosphere required by the physicians and staff.
  • Maintain the strictest level of patient confidentiality.
  • Assist the practice in delivering the highest level of operation and clinical standards.
  • Ensure effective, ongoing communication between practice physicians/staff and corporate leadership.
  • Develop relationships with key specialists in order to facilitate patient care.

Requirements
  • Must be a seasoned professional (5+ years); primary practice / clinic experience is desired.
  • Appreciation of the unique nature of our healthcare delivery and related demands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and highly developed listening ability.
  • Ability to draw blood with ease.
  • Ability to perform or become proficient with spirometry, EKG, audiogram and stress tests.
  • Able and willing to comply with company and industry operational standards and requirement
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Aptitude for operation of and troubleshooting computer software programs.
  • Ability to work as an effective member of a team
  • Demonstrated integrity, professional maturity and leadership skills.
