Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare pizzas, bread and other pasta as requested by the customer.
  • Prepare dough by kneading and stretching as required.
  • Add toppings according to order slips manage pizza time in the oven slice pizza according to size and customer specifications.
  • Assist in cleaning workplaces.
  • Assist in maintaining utensils and equipment.
  • Operation of stone oven and other equipment.
  • Proper sanitation and preventative maintenance of brick oven and other equipment.
  • Proper sanitation and preventative maintenance of walls, floors, drains, and shelves.
  • Proper handling, preparation, pulling, and rotation of pizza dough.
  • Maintain presentable appearance and professional demeanor.
  • Prepare consistent quality food, by following Piesanos recipes and procedure standard.
  • Ensure proper sanitation of food and work areas by following FDA code and Piesanos standard.
  • Proper sanitation of equipment, utensils, and restaurant by helping in the preventative maintenance of equipment, utensils, and restaurant.
  • Maintain safety temp sheets by regulating and monitoring safe and quality temperatures.
Requirements:

A Pizza Maker is responsible for preparing and/or directing the preparation of food to be served, complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures. A Pizza Maker is responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste and fraud.
