Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Brazing Welder for our client near Decatur, AL. In this role, you will perform metal joining operations by heating metal parts and applying a filler material to create a strong bond without melting the base metals. Reads blueprints, prepares materials, inspects finished work, and uses brazing equipment to meet quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and work instructions.
• Clean and prepare metal surfaces.
• Use oxy-acetylene torches or induction heating equipment.
• Apply filler metal to join components.
• Inspect finished joints for quality.
• Work with steel, copper, brass, aluminum, and other metals.
• Base metals are melted and fused together.
• Creates a stronger structural joint for many applications.
• Common in manufacturing, construction, and fabrication.

Requirements

• 2 year of experience in a Welding in a Manufacturing Environment (required)
• High School Diploma/GED or technical school graduate
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work occasional overtime
• Steel-toe boots required
• Must pass background and drug screening
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
