Job description

TS/SCI Software Engineer โ€“ Signal Intelligence & DSP

Join a high-caliber team of engineers and researchers developing advanced signal processing technologies in support of national security missions. This role is ideal for software engineers with a deep understanding of digital signal processing (DSP), strong C/C++ and Python skills, and an active TS/SCI clearance.

You will design, implement, and maintain complex software systems used in signal intelligence and communications systems. Experience with Linux environments and modern development practices is essential. You'll collaborate on the development of innovative tools and algorithms used in real-world intelligence and defense applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain large-scale software systems for signal intelligence applications
  • Design and implement DSP algorithms and related signal chain solutions
  • Work in a Linux environment with C/C++, Python, and SQL
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including researchers, hardware engineers, and mission specialists
  • Use tools for version control, defensive coding, and regression/unit testing
  • Participate in GUI design, data visualization, and front-end integration
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of software development experience (5+ preferred)
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Linux environments
  • Strong experience with algorithms, data structures, and signal processing concepts
  • Familiarity with GUI development and SQL databases
  • Must hold active TS/SCI clearance (U.S. Citizens only; no dual citizenship)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in statistical signal processing and communication systems
  • Experience with embedded systems, real-time processing, and defensive software practices
  • Familiarity with Agile development and collaboration tools
Why This Role?
  • Mission-driven work that directly supports national security
  • Small, focused team of expert engineers and researchers
  • Opportunity to shape the future of DSP and SIGINT systems
  • Competitive salary and growth potential in a cleared environment

Apply today to be considered. This is a hybrid position requiring the ability to work onsite in Monterey, CA as needed.
